How to Claim Your Free Money
I ran across something really cool I had never known about before. A way to get money for free! Every year millions of dollars of refunds and other monies and properties go unclaimed because people have moved and other reasons. The state government gets those monies and holds onto them until they are claimed. But how can you find out if you have money out there just waiting for you to claim it?
There is a website called unclaimed.org that will let you search for your free money. Just click on the state that you live in or have lived in and search by your name. You can see what claims are available according to the address on file. If you see an old address of your then you can easily claim the money by securely entering your social security number or other identifying information and requesting that a claim form be mailed to you. You can also print out a claim form and mail it in.
If you have a maiden name or have lived in multiple states be sure to check those locations and names also. You never know what free money you could find. Insurance, banks, and even government agencies use this method to make sure you get the money that is due to you.
It works differently depending on what the state laws are, but after proving that you are the claim holder you can get the money that is owed to you quickly and easily! What is cooler than getting free money you did not even know you had?
