Lohaghat

Mana Village 

UttarakhandThis village is located at the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand and it is said to be the last inhabited village in India which is situated at a distance of 24 kilometres from the Indo Chinese border.

This village is located very close to the Badrinath temple and there is also a mythological charm about this place.

An age old history has been linked to this place because as the story goes around, the holy epic of India; ‘

The Mahabharata’ was written here. One can get to see some holy classic traces that is scattered among the village.

There is a cave called the Vyas Guha which has been dated more than 5000 years old and is located just outside the village is a very sacred site because the legendary sage named Vyasdeva composed the Mahabharata here and it was written by Lord Ganesha.

The roof of this cave also resembles the pages of the holy script.

There also lies the famous Bheem Pul resting over the Saraswati River and it is believed that this existed since long back and the Pandava brothers crossed this place on their way to heaven.

Munsiyari 

This is another enchanting holiday destination that is located 2200 metres above the sea level.

This place is a hill town which lies at the4 foothills of the Panchachuli peaks and one can have a lovely family vacation here.

One can also get to see Nanda Devi and Rajarambha peaks from here.
